High Expectations For These Converations
2008.10.26

GIST HAS A NEW ALBUM!!! Sorry to shout, everyone, the DC-based band just happens to be one of our favorites in rotation and we really thought you should know. Their new record Conversations, Expectations just came out and we've thrown pretty much the whole thing into rotation. We had high hopes for the new material, and Gist delivers in style. They've improved with this offering, perfecting their indie-meets-math-rock sound and continuing to deliver lyrics that have reminded us of everything from Bongwater to Burroughs. Listen for the new material in the broadcast, and you'll get the idea.
